Bio

As a recovering workaholic, I know the importance of self care and the power it has to enable me to show up at my best in the world. I burnt out running my first business, I was working non stop, had no physical or wellness practices and a poor diet. The result was poor mental clarity, poor performance, and a very over worked and stressed mind and body.

I decided to follow my Buddhist roots and have been studying and practicing meditation for 12 years now with some of the best teachers in the world with a variety of approaches, in monastery’s and online in Asia, USA and the UK. I have studied with the nuns and monks at Suan Mokh monastery and Dipabhāvan meditation centre in Thailand, Emily Fletcher and Cyndi Lee in the USA, the British Mindfulness Institute and Goenka centre in the UK, and Jessica Maguire one of the top teachers in Nervous System Regulation in Australia. I started coaching meditation in 2020 during the pandemic to teach people how to ground and recalibrate and haven’t stopped since. These practices the ancients taught over 2500 years ago seem just as helpful and poignant today.

More recently I have started to introduce Mantra into my meditation classes. After a long love of devotional and Kirtan music, soaking up the Kirtan scene here in London, with the Mantra Lounge community on a Friday night, Nikki Slade’s Saturday night Kirtan in Camden, Radhika Das’ Kirtans in Angel and ecstatic music jams with Antarma all over London. I have started practicing and sharing Kirtan in south London. Kirtan opens my heart and allows me to share the sonic vibrations of love, joy, peace, freedom and bliss to those who come together in the space.

My sessions integrate all that I’ve learnt over the last 35 years, blending meditation, sounding, chanting, mantra, moving, dancing, yogic breathing, prayer, art and creativity into a heart opening and empowering experience. I recently opened for the album launch of conscious music artist Roaman, have co-hosted prayer circles with Antarma and ran Kirtan trainings with Nikki Slade.
